About China DC-DC Power Supply manufacturers
What is power supply?
A power supply is an electrical device that converts current from a power source (such as a power supply) to the voltage and current values required to power a load (such as a motor or electronic device). The goal of the power supply is to supply the load with the proper voltage and current. Current must be supplied in a controlled manner (and at an accurate voltage) to various loads, sometimes simultaneously, all without allowing changes in input voltage or other connected equipment to affect the output.
How does a DC-DC power supply work?
The power supply takes AC power from a wall outlet, converts it to unregulated DC power, and uses an input power transformer to step down the voltage, usually to the voltage required by the load. The transformer also separates the output power from the mains input for safety reasons.
A DC-DC converter is an electronic circuit or electromechanical device that converts direct current (DC) power from one voltage level to another. It is a power converter. Power levels range from very low (small batteries) to very high (high voltage power transfer).
